Kālouvoko (Kālo Islands) is the birthplace of the Kalovanian language. Therefore most of the language used here is going to be close to what is used in standard Kalovanian with unique slang and expressions for each island. However, unlike many other dialects of Kalovanian the differences are not drastic like they would be in different Kalovanian speaking nations. The following is slang used on all islands: Lemo (tongue) can also be used to replace the suffix -vā (language) (Ex: Kālovā becomes Kālolemo). Emājefī replaces Mepīveāmi/Meveā (House, apartment, residence, indoor space). The letter "K" in the middle of a word is often replaced with a "G" sound (Ex: Osakumo (Eyelash) becomes Osagumo ). Kusebluketerrapal (Strawberry) becomes Lārrē . Osatibetulkoto (Glasses) becomes Osadugo . Keianāmi (Man, boyfriend, male lover, husband) becomes Kužekeppiāmi .
